Message from the Exhibits Chair:
You are invited to exhibit at the 2008 Space and Missile Defense Conference and Exhibition in Huntsville, Alabama. Last year the conference had over 270 organizations exhibited and 6,000 attendees. This event provides you the opportunity to showcase your company's technology and products to the Space and Missile Defense Command, Aviation and Missile Command, NASA, Corps of Engineers, the State of Alabama and other corporations.
Sigma Services is providing support for coordination and the collection of fees. You can register for exhibit space online or send your Exhibitor Registration and fee directly to Sigma Services, 2610 Artie Street, Huntsville, AL 35805. Pricing
Exhibitor Standard Booth registration fee includes: 10x10 booth space, 2 folding chairs, 6' skirted table, 8' draped back wall, 3' draped side dividers and a 6" x 24" exhibitor i.d. sign. $1075 for first booth, decrease price by $50.00 per additional 10' x 10' booth until a floor price of $875.00 is reached and after that all additional booths will be at $875.00 each. Registrations not paid by 27 June 2008 will increase in cost by 25%.
Government pricing begins at $250 for first booth, decrease price by $50.00 per additional 10' x 10' booth until a floor price of $100.00 is reached and after that all additional booths will be at $100.00 each.
In order to pick up your Exhibitor Registration Package and Badge, you will have to present a government issued photo identification card (i.e., Driver's License, Active Military ID Card, Retired Military ID Card, Government Employee ID Card, Retired Government Employee ID Card, NASA Empoyee ID Card, retired NASA Emplyee ID Card, State Government ID Card, or Badge for Redstone Arsenal, the Pentagon, or other Military Installations).
This year, attendees to the SMD Conference will be provided with a conference guide. Included will be a very brief description of your company. Each exhibitor who wishes to be included in the guide must provide us with an electronic version of the company logo with a resolution of at least 300 dpi and a company synopsis in 20 words or less. In order to facilitate the production of this guide, we would appreciate receiving this information no later than 16 June 2008. Names of all exhibitors and possible alternatives must be submitted by 4 August 2008. Names may be entered online, faxed to (256) 533-4508 or mailed to 2008 SMD Conference & Exhibition, 2610 Artie Street, Huntsville, AL 35805-4707.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be in writing and may be faxed to (256) 533-4508 or mailed to 2008 SMD Conference & Exhibition, ATTN: Jeanne Weaver, 2610 Artie St., Huntsville, AL 35805-4707, by the following dates: Postmarked by 25 July 2008; Attendee and Exhibitor registration fee less $50. No refunds after 25 July 2008. Verbal cancellations cannot be accepted.

Decorating Contractor / Onsite Support
Southern Convention Services (SCS) provides audio visual rental, booth furnishings, custom booth rental, setup/dismantle labor, booth cleaning, material handling, graphics and more! Prior to the conference, exhibitors will receive an exhibitor packet by email from SCS with available services, pricing and other show information. All orders received with payment (sent to SCS, P.O. Box 69, 10446 County Line Road, Madison, AL 35756) by July 25, 2008 will receive an “early bird” discount. SCS will accept freight at the advance warehouse from July 21- August 1, 2008, Monday - Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM CDT only. After submitting material handling form and payment, please send advance freight to SCS 10446 County Line Road, Madison, AL 35756, ph: (256) 461-8815, fax: (256) 461-7720. Direct shipments to show site (except targeted move-ins) will be accepted at the VBC South Hall on Monday, August 13, 2008 only! Please include the name of the conference, booth number (if known) and the exhibitor name on all freight documents.

Telephone / Electrical Requirements
Telephone
The Von Braun Center (VBC) provides all telephone service. No other organizations are authorized to provide telephone service in the VBC without approval by VBC Decorating Department. Please call (256) 551-2234 to order your telephone service. All telephone lines have voice and data capability and will accommodate analog modems with up to 9600 baud rate. All long distance toll charges are the responsibility of the exhibitor and shall be made with a calling card or collect unless prearranged with the VBC Decorating Department. There is no additional charge for local calls.
Electrical
Please call the VBC at (256) 551-2234 to order your electrical requirements. Rates are applicable for single phase and three phase power. The charge for service includes electrical current, installation in the most convenient location and removal at the close of the conference. Special service or wiring of or into equipment will be charged at prevailing rates for labor and materials. VBC will not be responsible for power failures or voltage fluctuations. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE SERVICE PRIOR TO SHOW OPENING ON REQUESTS RECEIVED AFTER 9 AUGUST 2008.
